Yo, creatures of the night! Fright night is almost here. That’s right! Halloween is right around the corner. And there’s nothin’ like a bunch of scary movies to get your blood curdlin’. Looks like a bumper crop this harvest season. There’s BAD BLOOD, BEGRUDGE ME NOT, GOLDFISH CEMETERY, and my personal favourite ZOMBIE PIZZA GUY VS VAMPIRE PAPERBOY PART TWO – THIS TIME ITS PERSONAL! It’s gonna be great, or at least it would be if we could get into the movie theatre on our own. But all the movies are adult accompaniment. No biggie right, just ask the folks? Well you try enjoying a good scare when Dr. Mom is going on about how the movie is a metaphor for our collective unconscious. Talk about boring me unconscious!

Then I remembered that Mrs. James has a shelf full of them. Now she’s got a cool job, writing scary books. So Jamie snuck a bunch out of the house. We had ourselves a regular monster mash. That is until we watched the one about creepy clowns that hide in kid’s closets. C2 started whimpering so loud that Dr. Mom came in. I managed to shove C2 under the bed before she saw him. But now, I’m stuck with daily pre-post-Halloween-trauma treatments for the rest of the month. Oh man, why do I bother trying sometimes?
