Longest Weekend!

It’s the longest weekend of the year. That’s right. Labour Day is here and you know what that means. SCHOOL’S BACK. I can’t believe it. Where did all my chill out time go? Now I’ve got to start using the old noggin again? It hurts just thinking about all the thinking that I’m going to have to do. If that wasn’t enough to spoil the weekend, C2 wants to go to school every day now. He had so much fun filling in for me last year that he can’t wait to get back. Remember what happened the last time he subbed in for me last year? I don’t want to make Agar any more suspicious than he already is.

Then I saw C2 playing with Rex and one of those light bulbs went off above my head. After I realized that I’d leaned against the light switch, I still had no idea. I got so tired of C2 pestering me about it that I said, “if you love school so much why don’t you be a teacher.” I pointed at Rex and said, “there’s your first student.” You know what? He bought it. Big time. You should see the inside of the closet. It looks like little schoolhouse on the prairie. Where he got the chalkboard I have no idea. So that’s C2 sorted out for at least the first day of school. Who knows after that?
